Awarded the People's Choice Award for my senior collection "Dissimulation" at the WEAR Fashion Show.

Work Experience

Sample Coordinator/ Assistant Designer, PM&J LLC, Plymouth, MN      

  • Developed five innovative design collections (prints, costumes, pet beds, toys, etc.) for retailers such as PetSmart and Walgreens under stringent deadlines from the creative team.

  • Collected competitor research via online and in-store inspection to keep our team ahead of our competitors.

  • Checked in, boxed, and shipped samples that arrive from our China factories and 3rd Party fill facilities.

  • Executed product photography for online retailer product listings.

  • Navigated fabric swatches by identifying fabric types, adding them to the company server, and filing them in the swatch room.

Personal Styling and Shopping Intern, MH Style Consulting, Eden Prairie, MN      

 

  • Engaged with online and in-person wardrobe clients to assist them in finding their personal style.

  • Supported supervisors while shopping for clients by pulling items from the racks that best suited the client’s vision.

  • Diligently managed the social media coordinator position by creating posts for Instagram, updating Pinterest, and interacting with posts.

  • Styled clients according to their lifestyle, budget, and personal taste with the intent to create a loyal clientele.

Fashion Design Intern, Houston White Apparel, Minneapolis, MN                            

 

  • Completed a five-month internship with an up-and-coming fashion brand developing two apparel lines.

  • Created layouts, designs, tech designs, and mock-ups using Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Oversaw and ran pop-up shops in Minneapolis, selling Houston white apparel and coffee products.

  • Conducted market research on emerging fashion trends in the fashion industry related to our target consumer.

  • Attended meetings with the design team to discuss findings and direction for the next collection.
